The stay was comfortable in all ways. Special thanks to Diana who warmly welcomed me for a quick breakfast plate, despite of me being 5 minutes late from cutoff. While following all rules, she used her judgements and customer service first mentality to offer me access to breakfast area with a smile. Many thanks Diana. In addition the rooms were new, clean, spacious. Font desk was really helpful and quick at checkout. Parking super convenient. Location was very convenient from freeway.
Great location for a quick one night stay after spending the day hiking. Ram at the front desk was very polite and pleasant and made check-in easy! Thanks Ram! Breakfast was your usual hotel choices but included with your room price so definitely worth it! This is actually my 2nd time staying here after hiking and we would come back again if in the area. 10/25/25 update Stayed again after hiking in the area and just wanted to add that Diana is amazing in the breakfast area. She is very attentive to knowing when food is running low and making sure to replace the breakfast stock. Today’s breakfast was the best one so far with lots of options like cheese omelette, potatoes, bacon, turkey sausage and so much more! She truly deserves recognition for her hard work early mornings!
I stayed at the Holiday Inn and had breakfast this morning, and I have to give major appreciation to the staff—especially the woman running the breakfast area. There was an entire football team eating at the same time, easily 50+ people, and she worked incredibly hard to keep everything stocked, replenished, and running smoothly. She was emptying trash cans, refilling food, and cleaning tables nonstop, yet every time someone asked her for something, she responded with a smile and absolutely no signs of stress or frustration. Her positive attitude made the whole experience even better. Wonderful service and a great experience. Thank you so much!
The gym is too small. No weights and no mats and no room to spread out for non aerobic work on the three machines in there. There are three trash cans in there but no label as to which one is for the towels and which for the trash so it looks like people are putting everything in both! The room was clean. I would have preferred no carpet. I’m giving five stars for the service I received in the kitchen from Diana. She was friendly and helpful.
I’m writing this review in particular for the service at this Holiday Inn location. The hotel is a little outdated (slow elevators) but otherwise clean and well maintained. The gentleman at the front desk made the experience very smooth and quick, even when there was a hiccup with my card. While the breakfast at all Holiday Inn properties are the same in terms of offering, the quality of the food tends to vary - the food at this location was probably the best I’ve tasted (soft, fluffy eggs, properly salted sausage and gravy etc.). Diana did an excellent job having the breakfast area set-up, was very personable as she checked in on guest needs in the breakfast area, and served everyone with a smile. These small touches make a big difference in how people start their days. Kudos to Diana!
I have stayed all up and down the Peninsula and this hotel has some of those most comfortable beds hands down. Good sized rooms, well kept, and clean make for a pleasurable stay for a business traveler. They have one of the better hotel breakfast options as well, nothing fancy but better than many in the area.
Love the place. The bed r comfortable, clean, coffee n food is good. I do wish on the disability rooms that there was a bench in the showers for the people to sit on so the can utilize the shower. Then there was a handicap room with a tub and a bench. But my dad can't get in tub area
Had a great experience staying at Holiday Inn Express and suites in Belmont, Ca. Great accommodations and the room was amazing, big comfortable and all the amenities. Breakfast was excellent and the best part excellent customer service by Ram, and all the staff overall. Major kudos to all of them, specially to Ram.
